The East Ascension High School Band, proudly known as “The Pride of EA”
is a dynamic and award-winning music program dedicated to excellence, tradition, and school spirit. Under the direction of Charles Lee III and Assistant Director Devon Williams, The Pride of EA provides students with opportunities to grow as musicians, performers, leaders, and ambassadors for the East Ascension community.
Our program includes a wide variety of performing ensembles, including the marching band and color guard, concert band, Mariachi Esperantos, Jazz Legionnaires, indoor percussion, and winter guard. Each ensemble is built on a foundation of discipline, teamwork, pride, and passion for performance.
Whether performing on the competition field, in the concert hall, or throughout the community, The Pride of EA is known for its powerful sound, exciting performances, and unmatched energy. On Friday nights, you don’t even have to see us to know we’re there — you can hear The Pride of EA from miles away when the opposing team enters our end zone: “Choo! Choo!”
